On February 27, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) teaching staff, educational assistants, and early childhood educators from all schools across the Board will be participating in professional development in-person focusing on curriculum and assessment, and the School Resource Officer Program. Below is the format that will be taking place throughout the day for each group:
Elementary

Topic: Curriculum and assessment and the School Resource Officer Program

Description: School staff will participate in professional learning opportunities that include the School Resource Officer Program and Cyber Security Training. Further learning will include components of the new Kindergarten curriculum for educators, and mathematics learning for educators in Grades 1 to 8. Schools will also be given time to input and analyze data for planning, school improvement planning monitoring, and opportunities for school-based learning in reading, writing, and mathematics that align with system-level curriculum priorities.
