The conclusion of the investigation has deemed the overheating of a bluetooth speaker battery that caused a gas-like smell in the building.

Dear Archie Stouffer Elementary School parents/guardians,
Archie Stouffer Elementary School students and staff have been evacuated to the Minden Arena (located at 55 Parkside Street in Minden), due to a suspected gas smell at the school.
All staff and students are safe. The Fire Department is on scene and investigating the situation.
Transportation will be running as usual from the Minden Arena at the typical pick-up time. Parents/guardians may pick up their child(ren) from the arena if they wish to do so.
