SIRCH Community Services is hosting the annual Share the Warmth event again this year!
The initiative distributes over 1,100 items of free winter gear each year through community giveaway events in both Haliburton and Minden. By providing coats, boots, and other essentials, the program eases the burden of winter for individual and families, improves well-being, and ensures everyone can face the cold with comfort and dignity, helping to build a stronger, more connected community.
The community is invited to donate items between October 9 to 30 at the following locations:
Minden
- Dollos’ Foodland
- Home Hardware
- St. Paul’s Anglican Church
- Minden Valumart
Haliburton
- Foodland Haliburton
- Todd’s Independent
- Glecoff’s
- Home Hardware
The giveaway dates are the following – more information is to come:
- Minden – November 8
- Haliburton – November 9
- Bancroft – November 15
